The economy is not doing well and businesses are shutting down completely. You might even face a setback in terms of jobs paying less than the one you had before.
You need patience while applying for multiple jobs when you need to find a good job as astudent and the responses are either absent or unsatisfactory.

2. Networking comes in handy
Traditional ways of finding jobs can be a very arduous process and take up a lot of your time. Time is not something you can waste if you are looking to secure a steady income to survive. If you have names of a few companies in your head that you would prefer working with, call them. This will require a lot of courage but you might end up landing an interview for your dream job. So you should look up the company’s website and see how it operates, the industry it is in, what it values, etc. Try contacting the Hiring Managers of these companies directly as that would increase the chances of getting a good opportunity.
4. Edit your CV as need
Different companies value different skills, qualities, and qualifications. Different jobs have varying requirements as well. To make your CV relevant to the job you are applying for, you need to alter it accordingly. Thoroughly go through the job offer details and make a list of the skills they require.
Incorporate the overall values of the company and how it operates. Your CV should look like you are the best candidate for the job. It is not preferable to send the same CV to all the jobs you apply for.
