Paramount Plus (Paramount+) is the new name of the CBS All Access video streaming service. It has been rebranded and launched in the United States on March 4, 2021. Paramount Plus is offering more than 30,000 TV shows and movies, and the subscribers would be able to access more than 2,500 movies. The streaming service will premiere more than 36 original series this year.

TV shows and comedy films: Paramount Plus would launch new TV shows and films which include ‘Yellowstone’ Series ‘6666’, ‘Criminal Minds’ a series which is based on the Xbox game ‘Halo’. Classic series, such as, ‘Fatal Attraction’ and ‘Flashdance’ would also turn into new series at Paramount+.

Shows for children include Rugrats, “Avatar: The Last Airbender” and “The Legend of Korra”. Reality and music shows include MTV’s “Behind the Music”, “Yo MTV Raps” and “Unplugged”.

Paramount Pictures will release many popular titles on the streaming service which includes Mission: Impossible 7 and Top Gun: Maverick, “Quiet Place 2” and “Mission: Impossible 7”.

The service provides direct registration through its website (paramountplus.com) and third-party platform partners including Apple, Amazon, and Google. Both subscription options include parental control features and up to six separate profiles.

Paramount Plus is available for iOS and Android mobile devices, on Roku, Apple TV, and Fire TV players; and on the web. ViacomCBS said that the enhanced version of Paramount will be used on smart TV platforms and game consoles, but no partners have been announced yet.

How to watch Paramount Plus outside of the United States?

ViacomCBS said that Paramount Plus will also be launched in 18 other countries. The Canadian version of CBS All Access will also receive a new name and would become Paramount Plus.
