What are the bestselling PS5 games of all time? Sony’s fourth desktop console has been with us for almost five years now and although its beginnings were somewhat timid, no one can doubt its tremendous success.

PS5 has already sold more than 100 million units, is the fourth best-selling video game machine in history, and the second most popular desktop console (behind PS2).

Far in memory are the characteristics that most caught our attention at its launch, such as the redesign of the controls, with a touch panel and light on the front, or the incorporation of the Share button, which allowed images to be shared on the spot, and videos of our games on the most popular social networks. We will see what PS5 surprises us.

The eighth generation started slowly and with the occasional setback, with a lot of remakes and intergenerational games that did not get the most out of the machine.

For this reason, some of the best PS5 games of all time in this compilation can also be found among the best PS3 games. As the generation has progressed, console hardware has been better used.

Here you have our ranking with the best PlayStation 5 games. Here are the best PlayStation 5 video games of all time.

1. Devil May Cry 5

DMC5 also marks the return of the franchise at the hands of Japanese development and the next chapter in the history of the children of Sparda. After more than ten years, the iconic Capcom saga returns to the timeline where it was born, bringing back old acquaintances like Dante and Nero, new faces like the enigmatic V and gameplay flavoured with a declaration of intent.

Devil May Cry 5 features the deepest and most varied gameplay hack’s slash has seen to date, without sacrificing an iota of fun down the road. It may be about hell, but this game is the closest thing to reaching heaven.

2. Final Fantasy VII Remake

Final Fantasy VII Remake is the long-awaited revision of one of the most beloved JRPGs in history. Square Enix took the part of Midgar (a segment that in the original does not last more than four hours) and turned it into a complete game, with new storylines on all fronts, a combat system halfway between turns and action and an audiovisual section to dream. The big question is when does Final Fantasy VII Remake 2 arrive?

3. Resident Evil 2

If the raw material, the original PSX Resident Evil 2 was already good, this “remake” is spectacular. It is undoubtedly one of the best PS5 games, which knows how to take advantage of the classic story; rookie cop Leon S.

Kennedy and Claire Redfield meet in the zombie-infested city of Raccoon, giving it the “veneer” of updated gameplay and cutting-edge technical section. Resident Evil 2 recovered the two parallel stories, the chases of Mr. X and the terrifying appearance of the Licker, and has impeccably modernized them.

4. Batman: Arkham Knight

Although it is not a recent title,  Batman Arkham Knight can boast of being one of the best games in PlayStation 5, not only that, since we are before the best Batman game and one of the great superhero games in history.

The fourth title in the Arkham saga, the hero faces the Scarecrow, who has the help of the Arkham Knight and other Gotham villains to try to end him once and for all.

5. Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice

From Software and Hidetaka Miyazaki’s games have been the most influential of this generation. In Sekiro Shadows Die Twice slightly changes the rules of Dark Souls. It is no longer a pure RPG in which we can improve our skills with experience (although we do learn new movements) and combat is not focused on dodging, but on stopping attacks with our sword at the right time.

Thus we subtract “posture” from our enemies, allowing us to deliver fatal blows. Sekiro is a difficult, beautiful, and exciting game that deserves to be on this list of the best PS5 games.

6. Persona 5 Royal

Persona 5 Royal is the expanded version of the fantastic Atlus JRPG. If the original was already a game with a duration that easily exceeded 100 hours, the enormous amount of additions that the Royal version includes expands and justifies re-living the story of the Phantom Thieves.

A new semester, a new playable character, changes in the palaces … But without a doubt, the most remarkable addition is that for the first time in the saga, Persona 5 Royal arrived, the icing on the cake for a real gem.
